As the "CEO" of your salon, you'll be the primary driver of growth, profitability, and positive salon atmosphere. You won't just manage a schedule; you'll mentor the next generation of stellar Salon Professionals.
What You'll Do (The Exciting Part):
• Be a Talent Scout: Seek out the best stylists in the industry, collaborate with local beauty schools, and curate a team that everyone wants to be part of.
• Master the Guest Experience: Lead by example behind the chair, demonstrating how to transform first-time guests into loyal clients.
• Expand Your Salon's Success: Leverage data and digital tools (like our Stylist App and Zenoti) to achieve your sales targets, optimize your schedule, and enhance your salon's reputation.
• Be the Ultimate Mentor: Utilize the IGROW model to assist your team in advancing their careers. You are more than a supervisor; you are a career coach.
• Create a Welcoming Environment: Ensure your salon is a safe, clean, and motivating space to work—adhering to state board and OSHA regulations while maintaining high energy levels.
What You Bring to the Table:
• Leadership Skills: You excel at motivating a team, navigating challenging conversations with ease, and keeping morale high during busy times.
• Business Acumen: You're comfortable with financial aspects—from managing payroll to analyzing performance metrics.
• Technical Proficiency: You are skilled behind the chair and will still perform services according to our established techniques.
• Communication Expertise: Whether it’s one-on-one meetings or sharing recognitions on internal channels, you deliver clear messages effectively.
Position Requirements:
• License: Must hold a valid cosmetology license in the state of application.
• Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience: Preferred minimum of 12 months in a leadership role.
• Availability: Standard weekly hours are 40 (5 days, 8 hours each day).
• Physical Stamina: You should be comfortable standing, walking, and performing repetitive actions throughout your shift.
• Safety Mindset: Ability to work in a salon environment with exposure to hair chemicals and scents.
• The Basics: Basic math skills for cash handling/inventory and commitment to attending mandatory training and events.
