Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in Atlanta, Georgia.
Job Description & Requirements

• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours
• Employment Type: Travel
Pre-Screen Unit - Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis.
Schedule Requirements
RTO: MAX 7 days
WEEKEND: Every other weekend
CALL REQUIREMENTS: None
HOLIDAYS: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

FLOATING: Within facility and to sister hospital as needed
COMPLIANCE: FULL compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
UNIT SYSTEMS: EPIC
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: - 1 year
PATIENT POPULATION: Adults to Geriatrics - Radiation Oncology
EQUIPMENT: SBAR, Pyxis
REQUIRED SKILLS: BLS, Experience with care and management of ports, central line/implanted line care, startive IVs, Acute Tumor Lysis Syndrome, Anaphylaxis, Extravasation injury, Hemorrhage, Sepsis, Spinal Cord Compression, Neutropenic precautions, Tracheostomy care/management, External Radiation therapy, Radiation safety precautions and wound care.
