• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required for specific units.
• BLS - Basic Life Support required for all Nursing and Tech positions.
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support recommended for certain areas.
• Additional certifications such as EFM, Tech Cert Verification, NRP, CHEMO may be required based on unit and role.

• Population/Unit: Units included in float pool: Burn ICU, CCU, Medical ICU, SICU, Trauma ICU, Neuro ICU - Up to ratios -1:2, 1:4, 1:5
• Facility is a mandatory float.
Job Requirements
• Required Skills: BLS, ACLS, Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias, Multi-system organ failure, Arterial Line Management, Central Lines, Continuous IV sedation, Titrate Cardiac and Vasoactive Drips, BiPAP/CPAP, Ventilated Patients & Management, Interpretation of ABG's, Suctioning, Isolation Precautions
• Requirement: License in hand, 2+ years of ICU experience, first time traveler = ok
Schedule Information
• Shift: 3x12s, every other weekend (36 guaranteed hours) no flexibility, no block, 5 days RTO Max (cannot be consecutive)
Unit Specific Information
• Burn ICU, CCU, Medical ICU, SICU, Trauma ICU, Neuro ICU included in float pool.
• Patient ratios can range from 1:2 to 1:5 depending on the unit.

• Refer to Unit/Department (UD)/cost center for specific certification requirements.
• American Heart Association (AHA) certifications only.
