Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR Tech for a cardiovascular operating room position requiring advanced cardiac and vascular procedural skills.
Details
Work in a hospital cardiovascular operating room (CVOR)
Day shift, 8-hour shifts with no on-call requirements
Assignment length is 13 weeks
Care for adult cardiovascular and vascular surgical patients
Perform strong endovascular procedures, including complex cardiac and vascular cases
Requirements
Minimum of 18 months full-time experience in a CVOR setting of similar acuity within the last 3 years
Demonstrated proficiency in cardiac and vascular procedures, including endovascular techniques
Active certification or license required if applicable
Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
Former staff must be separated for at least 1 year from the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
Additional Information
Master a variety of cardiovascular procedures, including those involving cannulation and aortic cases
Must answer specific perioperative experience questions as part of the application
Strict rules for requested time off: maximum of 5 days if not near a holiday, 3 days if near a holiday, and only 1 holiday request allowed
Multiple days of requested time off during holidays will not be approved unless spread out
