Join our dynamic team as a Traveling CPA Auditor, where you'll play a key role in overseeing and enhancing the accuracy of our clients' financial records. This exciting role involves traveling to various client locations, primarily in Alabama and Florida, to provide top-notch audit and bookkeeping services.
Key Responsibilities
• Mentor and Guide: Provide support and mentorship to junior staff members during audit engagements, helping them grow and succeed.
• Conduct Audits: Perform on-site audits at client locations across different regions, ensuring thorough and accurate evaluations.
• Review and Analyze: Examine financial statements, accounting records, and internal controls to spot potential risks or compliance issues.
• Test and Validate: Carry out detailed testing procedures to confirm the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Communicate Effectively: Share findings and recommendations with management and clients in a clear, professional manner.
• Collaborate: Work closely with clients to address audit findings and implement corrective measures.
• Stay Informed: Keep up with regulatory changes and industry trends to ensure adherence to best practices.
Qualifications
• CPA Certification: Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in public accounting.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong grasp of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and auditing standards.
• Skills: Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Work Style: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Travel: Willingness to travel extensively to client sites, including overnight stays as needed.
