We’re looking for a friendly, reliable Trolley Assistant to join our team. This is an active, customer-facing role where you’ll play an important part in keeping our store running smoothly.
The Role:
You’ll enjoy being on the move and helping customers throughout the day.
Key responsibilities include:
Collecting trolleys from the carpark and keeping trolley bays fully stocked
Ensuring trolleys are clean and free of rubbish
Assisting customers with loading groceries into their vehicles when needed
Providing friendly, helpful service at all times
Reporting damaged or unsafe trolleys and removing them from use
Clearing rubbish bins located in customer area zones
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
This role involves regular lifting, pushing, and walking for long periods
You’ll be working mostly outdoors, in all weather conditions (rain, sun, wind)
You must be comfortable with physical work and stay active throughout your shift
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
Friendly, approachable and enjoys interacting with customers
Helpful, energetic and motivated
Well-presented, polite and confident when speaking with customers and team members
A strong team player with a positive attitude
Able to work independently and stay productive throughout the shift
