A prestigious international law firm, known for working with high-profile clients globally, is seeking a Trust and Tax Manager to join their Cheltenham Private Client Team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the preparation of trust accounts, inheritance tax returns, and other tax filings, ensuring compliance with HMRC.
• Calculate trustees' liabilities to IHT, CGT, and Income Tax, leveraging annual exemptions.
• Handle trustee meetings, managing distributions from trusts, both capital and discretionary income.
• Monitor investment portfolios, review trust deeds, and ensure timely reporting to trustees and beneficiaries.
• Collaborate with a collegiate and supportive team to provide top-tier advice on tax and succession planning.
Key Requirements:
• Solid understanding of Trust Accounts and Trust Taxation (IHT, CGT, Income Tax).
• Experience with trust and tax software.
• A STEP qualification would be a bonus but is not essential.
• Proven experience in managing high-net-worth clients, demonstrating excellent communication and analytical skills.
