At The Strings Club, we are looking for a super friendly and experienced Ukulele, Guitar & Violin teachers to join us at our Holiday Clubs over the October Half Term - wc 21st & 28th Oct
We have a number of positions available including-
wc 21st October:
Dulwich - James Allen Girls School, 144 East Dulwich Grove, SE22 8TE:
-Ukulele (+am-1pm Mon-Thurs, 12:30pm-4:30pm (Fri)
-Guitar (+am-1pm Mon-Thurs, 12:30pm-4:30pm (Fri)
wc 28th October:
Balham - Trinity St Mary's Primary School, 6 Balham Park Rd, SW12 8DR:
-Ukulele (+am-1pm Mon-Thurs, 12:30pm-4:30pm (Fri)
Dulwich - James Allen Girls School, Pre-Prep Building, 2 Dulwich Village, SE21 7AL:
-Guitar (+am-1pm Mon-Thurs, 12:30pm-4:30pm (Fri)
Greenwich - James Wolfe Primary School, Royal Hill, SE10 8RZ:
-Ukulele (+am-1pm Mon-Thurs, 12:30pm-4:30pm (Fri)
-Violin (+am-1pm Mon-Thurs, 12:30pm-4:30pm (Fri)
Islington - Drayton Park Primary School, Islington, N5 1PJ:
-Violin (+am-1pm Mon-Thurs, 12:30pm-4:30pm (Fri)
Includes 2 x 45 mins lessons (max) + 2.5 hours pastoral care PLUS lots of fun! Instruments are provided by us for the children.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Leading dynamic group lessons with high energy and an enthusiastic attitude
• Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to by yourself and children in your care - including health and safety, and safeguarding policies
• Implement routine checks of instruments to ensure they are in good condition
Essential Qualities
• Personable, approachable, confident and well presented
• Have a degree in Music or any other related arts subject
• Be able to create dynamic, versatile and high-quality lesson plans
• Are over the age of 18 and have the right to work in the UK
Desirable Qualities:
• Have a knowledge of music and/or music in primary education
• A “go to” attitude and a willingness to “go that extra mile”
• Hold a previous DBS check which is registered on the DBS Update Service

The Strings Club is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all team members to share this commitment. Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including at least two checks with past employers (character references are now being accepted), the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), as well as child protection training.
