Summary:
We are looking for a Oracle Database Administrator (RHEL) within our Unica Product team. We are looking for candidates with 2+ years of experience who possess the following skills:

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Database Administrator to build, manage, optimize, secure Relational and non-SQL Databases. The Database Administrator is responsible for delivery of complex enterprise infrastructure projects, on public clouds, private clouds, and hybrid. This individual will be responsible for the design, deployment, and management of database infrastructure in support of HCL Software’s Cloud Products.
Qualifications and Experiences:
2+ yrs. of Experience in Enterprise Database Management, Administration, Integration, Performance Management.
We are following Bank Holidays and working schedule. 6 days Work from Office and All Sundays are holidays. 2 & 4 Saturdays are working.
Should have Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
Proven expertise in the design, maintenance, and administration of one or more relational databases like MySQL, MS-SQL, Oracle.
Proficiency in no-SQL databases like MongoDB, Redis, etc is a plus
Highly knowledgeable of Database architecture and Internals
Proficient with Database installation and configuration, clustering, backup, replication.
Proficient with Database performance tuning, monitoring and alerting tools/processes.
Knowledge of ETL development and tools (IBM DataStage, Microsoft SSIS, etc)
Ability to work well within an agile team environment and applying the related working methods.
Experience working on & integrating with Cloud Platforms like:
GCP, AWS, Azure and OpenShift is a plus.
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with management, customers and business partners.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with HCL Architects and HCL Clients to understand requirements and deliver effective data and integration solutions.
Design, Build, and Implement databases and data integration frameworks HCL’s Marketing Platform (Unica) and Customer Data Platform (CDP)
Manage and Optimize Databases for scalability, capacity, performance
Implement secured on-premises and cloud database solutions through standardization, automation, optimization, availability, scalability
Implement security related risk and compliance initiatives with the ability to guide Database Engineering in streamlining security functions.
Support Database Operations including user management, security, backup/recovery, patching, networking, and administration
Patching of the database as required to maintain currency and remediate vulnerabilities.
Deployment of monitoring systems to ensure ongoing system performance.
Design and implementation of database maintenance scripting and tasks as required to assure ongoing performance
Design storage subsystems that meet system and database performance goals
Participate in disaster recovery exercises.
Support data migration and mass data load requirements.
Provide operational support with the ability to guide members of Database Team for running an optimized support model
Research and implement modern technologies to enhance/grow existing database infrastructure and perform proof-of-concept research on behalf of Database Engineering.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or equivalent.
One or more Database Certifications from Oracle, Microsoft, MySQL
One or more Cloud Certifications from Amazon Web Services, Google, Azure
Travel:
20% to 30% +/- travel required
Location:
Belapur CBD in Navi Mumbai.
Compensation:
Base salary, plus bonus.
