About the position
apoQlar is currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Unity Developer (m/f/d) in Poznan, Poland (remote / hybrid). You will work closely with our engineering team, turning medical challenges into building blocks of our medical mixed reality platform.
Responsibilities:
• Development and maintenance of MR and VR applications in Unity (HoloLens, Meta Quest)
• Turning business requirements into new features
• Optimizing and maintaining the existing solutions
• Ensuring good practices and performing peer code reviews
• Cooperating with agile team members (technical product owners, developers, designers, testers)
• Collaborating with the team to establish and maintain coding standards, guidelines, documentation, and best practices.
Your Profile:
• You have at least 5 years of experience building applications in Unity (C#)
• You are proficient in C# and know how to create clean and efficient code
• You know performance optimization techniques in Unity
• You have at least one delivered VR/MR project
• Understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices including code review processes
• Experience with other software development tools and services, such as issue tracking systems such as Jira, etc.
• You are willing to work in the field of medical technology
• You are a passionate techie always looking for what’s new in the market
• You can adapt to changing requirements and make decisions quickly
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work within a diverse and interdisciplinary team.
Nice to have:
• Portfolio and/or example projects to present
• Experience with multiplayer or networking solutions in Unity
• Experience working in a medical technology startup (or scale-up)
