Job Summary
We are seeking a Universal Banker to join our team. In this role, you will assist our customers in managing their bank accounts and finances. You will develop long-term relationships with clients as well as network to generate new potential business. The ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal skills, uses a customer-oriented approach to solving problems, and has proven experience in banking.
Responsibilities
• Communicate with clients to discover their bank services needs
• Assist clients in opening and closing bank accounts
• Process teller transactions, cross selling bank products, implementing bank procedures
• Provide resolution for any issues the customer may have with their accounts or banking services
• Refer clients to other financial experts within the bank when necessary
• Network and develop relationships with potential clients
• Educate prospective and existing clients on financial products and services
• Enter information into banking software
• Other administrative duties, as necessary
Qualifications
• Previous experience as a Personal Banker is preferred
• Deep understanding of personal banking regulations
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, databases, and loan processing and banking software
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to perform in a goal-oriented environment
• Customer-oriented approach to handling problems
