Responsibilities

Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and upcoming activities.
Support library services by integrating literacy education resources into daily lessons.
Implement teaching strategies suitable for working with children with autism or other special needs, ensuring all students have access to quality education.
Experience
Prior classroom experience teaching elementary-aged children in grades 3 through 5 is preferred
Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and assessment strategies.
Experience working with diverse learners, including those requiring special education or early intervention services.
Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices..
Ability to manage classrooms effectively while maintaining high energy levels and positive engagement.

A New World Prep Teacher understands and promotes the school’s mission, vision, objectives, and policies both within and outside the immediate school community.
