Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner Location: Miami, FL Position: Full-Time Salary: $180,000 – $210,000 per year Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PMRole OverviewThis role places you at the center of day-to-day urgent care delivery. As an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner, you will evaluate and treat patients with acute, non-life-threatening conditions, make timely clinical decisions, and keep care moving efficiently. Your work directly reduces emergency room overflow while giving patients fast, reliable access to treatment they can trust.You’ll manage a steady patient flow, handle diagnostics on-site, and provide clear next steps so patients leave informed and confident in their care plan.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess, diagnose, and treat urgent illnesses and minor injuriesOrder and interpret labs, X-rays, and other diagnostic testsPrescribe medications and treatment plans in line with clinical guidelinesPerform basic procedures such as wound care, suturing, and splintingDocument visits accurately using electronic medical recordsCollaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient clinic operationsEducate patients on follow-up care and when to seek further treatmentRequired QualificationsMaster’s degree or higher from an accredited Nurse Practitioner programActive Florida Nurse Practitioner licenseNational NP certification (AANP or ANCC)Current DEA registrationExperience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care preferredStrong clinical judgment and comfort managing high patient volumeBenefits Package2 weeks paid time offHealth insurance coverage401(k) retirement plan with 3% company matchIf you’re ready for a role where your clinical skills are used every day and your schedule stays predictable, this could be your next move.
