Senior Accountant Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at Broccoli-and-Carrots Global Services Private Limited.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising day-to-day accounting activities and junior accounting staff, preparing and finalizing accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, amongst other key responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervision of day-to-day accounting activities and junior accounting staff
• Preparation and finalization of accounts (Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet)
• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• GST, TDS compliance and return filings
• Handling statutory and internal audits
• Cash flow management and fund planning
• Vendor & client reconciliations
• Liaising with CA firms, banks, and regulatory bodies
• Process improvement and team training
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• MBA/MCom degree with 5-8 years of experience as a Senior Accountant
• Expertise in accounting standards and compliance
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Advanced knowledge of Tally / ERP and MS Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and coordination with cross-functional teams
