Job Summary

We are seeking US Client Accountants across junior and senior levels to manage and support a portfolio of US-based clients. The role involves daily bookkeeping, reconciliations, and month-end close activities, along with financial reporting and client coordination.

The position requires strong accounting fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment. Senior candidates will also be responsible for reviewing work, managing client engagements, and supporting team members.
Key Responsibilities

· Manage or assist in managing a portfolio of US clients, handling daily bookkeeping

· Ensure bookkeeping is performed in accordance with accounting principles and US GAAP

· Execute or support month-end close activities, including:

· Bank Reconciliations

· Accounts Receivable (AR) & Accounts Payable (AP) reconciliations

· Inter-company reconciliations

· Accounts finalization

· Prepare or assist in preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)

· Maintain accurate and organized client documentation and working papers

· Work on cloud-based accounting platforms (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, etc.)

· Coordinate with clients for day-to-day communication and data requirements

· Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks with high accuracy

(For experienced candidates):

· Review work completed by junior team members

· Manage client deliverables, timelines, and multiple engagements

· Support team members and assist in task allocation
Qualifications

· B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)

· CA / CPA / ACCA (Pursuing / Part Qualified / Qualified preferred)
Experience

· 0–5 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping

· Exposure to US clients or US accounting preferred
Key Skills & Competencies

· Understanding of month-end close process

· Knowledge of bank, AR, AP, and intercompany reconciliations

· Familiarity with US GAAP (basic to advanced based on experience)

· Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred)

· Experience with cloud-based accounting tools

· Strong analytical and attention to detail

· Good communication and client handling skills

· Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks
