We are seeking a US Accountant (Non-Profit) with 2+ years of relevant experience in QuickBooks Online and US-based NPO/NFP clients.
About the Role

The Associate/Sr. Associate is responsible for performing accounting services, including end-to-end bookkeeping, balance sheet reconciliation, and payroll services, as well as assisting with monthly compilation engagements and audit preparation.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare financial statements and compilation reports in a timely manner based on client deadlines.
• Complete month-end closing procedures and special projects in a timely manner based on client deadlines.
• Direct client interaction and serve as a point of contact.
• Review all workpapers, financial statements, and other relevant documents before submission to manager or director for further review.
• Advise and assist with the annual budget process, as requested.
• Pursue opportunities to provide additional services to clients.
• Take ownership and assume responsibility for assigned work.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting with proven experience with US-based Non-Profit organizations.
• Familiarity with grants and pledge entries.
• Prior experience in client handling.
• Strong organization, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong computer aptitude, including expertise with Microsoft Excel and Word, as well as proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online.
• Analytical skills with attention to detail.
