This position involves managing the financial aspects of property management and rent business. The ideal candidate will have experience in Sage Intacct/AppFolio, lease agreements, and invoices.
• Proficient in accounting software such as Sage Intacct/AppFolio.
• In-depth knowledge of lease agreements, invoices, and the rental business.
• Strong understanding of property/rent management principles.
• Basic understanding of US GAAP accounting standards.
• Familiarity with financial statements, bookkeeping, and general ledger management.
• Accounting tasks include managing accounts receivable/payable and processing daily payments for clients.
• Preparation and review of daily bookkeeping and bank reconciliations.
Requirements
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in US accounting and property management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• A self-motivated individual who takes initiative and is proactive in their work approach.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing situations and priorities.
• Trustworthy and discreet when handling confidential information.
• Ability to support high-level company staff and board members with confidence and professionalism.
