Wakeling Automotive has 16 new car franchises across Paul Wakeling Motor Group, Camden Valley Motors, Moss Vale Motor Group, Allan Mackay Autos, Wollongong City Motors, Shellharbour City Motors, Mercedes-Benz Wollongong and 8 used car locations. Wakeling Automotive not only specializes in automotive but also is home to Tyre Plus Campbelltown and Camden Cycles. In 2017, 2018 & 2019, Wakeling Automotive was recognised at the NSW Business Chamber Macarthur Region within several categories such as “excellence in workplace inclusion” &“excellence in business”. Overview of the Role
Wakeling Automotive Wholesale Direct is part of Macarthur's largest family owned multi-franchise motor dealership. We are now looking for the right candidate with a keen eye for detail to join our successful Service team in the role of Used Car Reconditioning Technician.
The successful application must have:
Proven experience undertaking Minor & Major maintenance & diagnostic work to the highest quality Standards.
Able to quickly adapt to the ever-changing technologies across a wide range of vehicles
Working closely with the technical team to ensuring correct steps are taken to problem solve faults
Adhering to checklists and quality control standards
A team player who is focused on providing exemplary quality service
Ability to mentor / provide guidance to junior technicians
Keep up to date with mandatory factory training
Take pride in your ability to problem solve / fault find.
Excellent communication skills oral & written.
Be mature, punctual with a strong work ethic.
Reliable, conscientious, adaptable and customer focused
A current drivers licence
A current valid Motor Mechanic Trade Certificate
A valid licence to carry out rego inspections
