The Public Works Department strives to improve the quality of life in Phoenix through efficient delivery of outstanding solid waste, fleet, facilities, and energy management services. The Solid Waste Division provides trash, recycling, and other waste diversion services to more than 400,000 households.
The department is seeking individuals dedicated to customer service and interested in working for a municipal utility as a Utilities Service Specialist in the Solid Waste Division.
Utilities Service Specialists assist customers over the telephone with a wide variety of requests and inquiries related to their solid waste service.
