We’re seeking an Apparel Product Designer to join our team—a creative thinker with a passion for designing clothing that solves real-world challenges. Key Responsibilities:
• User-Centric Design: Research and develop apparel tailored to the needs of modern travelers and on-the-go lifestyles, focusing on comfort, utility, and aesthetics.
• Innovative Functionality: Integrate smart features (e.g., hidden pockets, moisture-wicking fabrics, wrinkle resistance) into designs without compromising style.
• Material Expertise: Collaborate with the sourcing team to select and develop cutting-edge fabrics that align with our brand's focus on performance and sustainability.
• Prototyping and Testing: Work closely with pattern makers and production teams to create prototypes; oversee product testing to ensure functionality and durability in real-life scenarios.
• Trend and Market Analysis: Stay updated on athleisure and travel clothing trends while maintaining a user-focused approach to design.
• Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with the marketing, production, and sourcing teams to bring designs to life, from concept to final product.
• Problem-Solving: Approach design challenges with creativity and innovation, ensuring all products meet both aesthetic and functional needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Product Design, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in fashion or product design, preferably with a focus on performance wear, athleisure, or functional apparel.
• Strong understanding of technical fabrics and garment construction.
• A portfolio showcasing designs that blend functionality with style.
• Exceptional attention to detail, creative problem-solving skills, and a passion for innovation.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, CLO 3D, or other CAD software.
• An understanding of user-centric design principles and the ability to anticipate real-world use cases.
