Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out site preparation, hazard identification, and set up safe work areas in line with Safe Work Practices
Perform general utility and labouring duties including trenching, digging, lifting, and equipment installation
Identify underground services and obstructions prior to excavation
Ensure all tools, equipment, and PPE are available, compliant, and fit for purpose
Maintain a strong focus on health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance at all times
Work effectively as part of a team to meet operational, regulatory, and customer requirements
Report hazards, incidents, and near misses promptly and accurately
Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers and the public
About You:
Experience in labouring or utility work (preferred)
Comfortable with heavy lifting, digging, trenching, and manual tasks
Ability to read and understand plans and obstruction drawings
Enjoy working outdoors in all conditions
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Full Class 1 & 2 driver licences (required)
Class 4, Class 5, and WTR endorsements are an advantage
Excellent safety record
Good verbal and written communication skills
