What we're looking for

We are currently looking for a ideal candidate who can direct, manage, supervise and co-ordinate the operations of Solid Waste Management. Someone who can build and work with a team, prioritize work, coordinate activities and meet critical deadlines.You will be posted on any of the Company Project sites

Responsibilities:

Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Directly or through supervisory staff selects, trains, mentors, motivates, and evaluates assigned personnel; provides or coordinates staff training; works with employees to correct deficiencies; implements discipline and termination procedures; hears, reviews, and responds to employee grievances.
- Plans, directs, coordinates, and reviews the work plan for Waste Management services and activities; assigns work activities and projects; monitors work flow; reviews and evaluates work products, methods, and procedures;
- Prepares analytical and statistical reports on operations and activities.
- Interact with the authorities on the work progress and take continuous feedback from them
- Attends, participates in, and leads professional group meetings; stays abreast of new trends and innovations related to the field of Waste Management Operations.
- Oversees and participates in the development of the Waste Management annual budget; participates in forecasting funds needed for staffing, equipment, materials, and supplies; monitors and approves expenditures; implements adjustments.
- Assumes management responsibility for assigned services and activities of the solid waste facilities and operations including the areas of expected tonnage, vehicle transitions, equipment maintenance and fuel usage, preparation of equipment specifications, equipment rental needs, and coordination of contract services provided to the Department.
- Manages and participates in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities for assigned programs; recommends and administers policies and procedures.
- Identifies opportunities for improving service delivery methods and procedures; identifies resource needs; obtains approval for improvements as needed/required; implements improvements.
- Responds to and resolves difficult and sensitive customer inquiries and complaints.
- Follow up on timely payments from the authorities.
