Full job description
To plan for and carry out all procedures of patient care including administration of medication according to standing instructions, assisting Doctors in various medical and surgical diagnostic procedures, performing diagnostic procedures, collecting and sending of specimens to lab, prepares patient for operations.
Makes a complete assessment of all assigned patients on admission at the beginning of the shift so as to plan the activities in order of priority while applying principles of safe patient care.
To provide hands-on care to patients by administering medications, managing intravenous lines, observing and monitoring patients' conditions, maintaining records and communicating with doctors.
Required staff Nurse for specialized area's like - CTVS, Cath Lab and CCU.
Take over of all patients as per the guidelines and protocol.
To maintain accurate records, reports and ensure that the billing sheet is filled in correctly and patient is charged for all procedure services, medications etc.
Brief and guide patients about the procedure.
