Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with manufacturing leadership to understand business goals and develop HR strategies that contribute to achieving those goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor to management and provide guidance on various HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and compliance.
- Partner with department managers to address employee-related issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and practices.
- Drive talent acquisition efforts for the manufacturing division, collaborating with the recruitment team to attract, assess, and onboard top talent.
- Facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans, to enhance employee engagement and productivity.
- Proactively identify training and development needs within the manufacturing workforce and work with Learning and Development to design and implement relevant programs.
- Participate in the creation and execution of succession planning initiatives to ensure a strong pipeline of leadership talent within the manufacturing division.
- Lead and support change management efforts, such as organizational restructuring, process improvements, and cultural transformation initiatives.
- Stay updated on employment laws and regulations specific to the manufacturing industry and ensure compliance in all HR practices.
- Monitor employee morale and engagement levels, identify areas for improvement, and recommend strategies to enhance the work environment.
- Collaborate with the Compensation and Benefits team to ensure competitive compensation packages and employee benefits that attract and retain manufacturing talent.
- Handle employee grievances, investigations, and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Prepare and analyze HR metrics to provide insights to leadership and guide data-driven decision-making.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives at both the divisional and company-wide levels.
