Position Summary:
• Provides leadership and strategic management for the division’s aftermarket repair station, spares component supply and vendor repair management.
• Manage a wide scope of multiple/diverse products.
• May have high volumes on multiple and complex products.
• Manages directly or indirectly small to larger functional teams within the aftermarket value stream.
• Has regular interaction with division leadership, SSO leadership, program management, administration, operations, quality, and engineering teams; coordination typically covers multiple sites and may cross divisions or require Joint Venture support.
• Establish and maintain high level of customer interaction to communicate deliverables, timelines, and concerns. Use commercial acumen to drive business growth and campaigns. Reports to the Site Business Unit Manager

Responsibilities
• Ownership of MRO Value Stream P&L’s including cost analysis and opportunities, product line margin, PPV goals and manufacturing productivity.
• Responsible to achieve financial, customer service, repair station, supply chain and inventory demand objectives for Commercial and Military aftermarket business
• Acts as primary focal point for the division aftermarket activities and aligns activities with SSO Global Services Leader. Primary site aftermarket point of contact for SSO coordination with the Business Unti Manager, staff, and operations teams.
• Establish and maintain high level of customer interaction to communicate deliverables, timelines, and concerns.
• Use commercial acumen to drive business growth and campaigns.
• Oversee MRO service performance requirements, contracts, deliverables to include PI&R, product performance, MTBUR
• Advocate for the site aftermarket activities and leadership liaison in the review of a comprehensive Military and Commercial Sales and Earnings Plan (Monthly Rolling Outlook, Fiscal Year, 5-Year and 10-Year), Commercial Spares Catalog, RFQ and AFA review and approval.
• Leads and optimizes all repair station and spares shipments for multiple, diverse, and complex products.
• Monitors and reports product support, financial, delivery, and inventory performance metrics to assure the most beneficial outcomes. Provides necessary monthly A3 performance corrective action as required ensuring metrics and performance manage to a green rating.
• Develops product life cycle strategies within site and coordinates with SSO to develop aftermarket strategies.
• Accountable leader for aftermarket regulatory agency compliance (DCAS, FAA, EASA, CAAC, etc.).
• Responsible for ensuring business case alignment, funding, and support of aftermarket engineering and program management needs (i.e. Product Improvement and Retrofits and EIS requirements).
• Ensures site business and value streams are organized and capable of complying with contract flow down of terms and conditions for Product Support Agreements, other contracts and Entry into Service requirements.
• Coordinates S&OP process for aftermarket business, working across sites and SSO to ensure proper demand is in place and capacity needs are addressed.
• Ensures customer site visit support and manages regulatory audits and reviews.
• Responsible for the aftermarket material planning and procurement and availability. Ensures supply is aligned with forecast demand and that inventory (Rotables/Exchanges), EIS (New) and pooling initiative needs are met.
• Responsible for POP implementation and long-term manufacturing strategies.
• Operational leadership including successful Lean implementation resulting in productivity gains.
• Meets with the Value Stream Leaders regularly, reflecting on problems, solutions, and challenges, thereby creating a culture of continuous improvement and contributing towards becoming a learning organization.
• Leads the Value Stream in daily operations and continuous improvements which include but are not limited to supply chain production control, establishing manufacturing priorities, coordination of activities with off -shift management and order shipments. Emphasizes the creation of continuous product flow, utilize pull systems where flow is not currently possible, and works to level the workload.
• Creates the basis for continuous improvement and employee empowerment by ensuring that standardized work/processes are followed, countermeasures implemented, and the area is compliant with safety requirements.
• Champions HPT Culture to drive employee engagement and business performance.
• Instills and maintains a positive can-do team atmosphere within the Value Stream; holding regular team meetings and assigning team members tasks and coordinate support services needed outside the team. Utilizes PDCA in conjunction with the Tracking Centers and Team Improvement Boards to ensure results.
• Ensures Value Stream Leaders provide effective cross-training for the Value Stream Associates, including backups from other areas, to assure a continuous smooth running Value Stream. This training is the foundation of a culture that stops to fix problems in order to get quality right the first time.
• Works with the other members of site staff to develop the future state value stream map and manages the plans to achieve it, as documented in the Site Tracking Center. In addition, the VS Manager works with the VS Team Leaders to maintain the Team Improvement Boards (TIB). Both of these centers – the TIB and Site Tracking Center – are the minimum requirements in a visually controlled environment that ensures no problems remain hidden.
• Oversee day-to-day activities to meet daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly expectations.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree; Masters degree preferred.
• 5-7 or more years of Aftermarket Aerospace industry experience
• Experience in an FAA repair station is a plus.
• 5 -7 years of major professional accomplishments, including increasing responsibility and leadership of projects and teams of considerable size, scope and complexity.
• Previous operational experience and P&L ownership experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to perform the described role and responsibilities and obtain the desired results.
• Experience overseeing in-service performance requirements (PI&R, product performance, MTBUR)
• Commercial acumen to drive business growth and campaigns
• Demonstrated customer responsiveness, thorough knowledge in product and manufacturing technology and systems integration, as well as varied industry experience.
• Thorough working knowledge of principles, industry practices, company products, technology, regulations, and policies related to operations and business for airline, military, or OEM customers.
• Knowledge of operations and business processes and procedures, including technical and business proposal development.
• Knowledge of business and financial plans and controls, contractual terms and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work complex problems and/or situations requiring coordination across sites and/or divisions.
• Sufficient experience and background in accounting, PC skills, manufacturing, human resources management, inventory control and strategic planning.
• Demonstrated collaborative, teamwork and team building skills in producing results by meeting organizational objectives. Capable of assessing and developing individual and team skills and capabilities. Able to create and maintain enthusiasm for new and challenging goals. Serve as a role model by promoting new ideas and positive change.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Involved with or lead a team in LEAN process improvements/implementation preferred

• Pay Range: $138150 to $241850 annually
