Position Overview
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record in the Intelligent Automation (IA) sector including knowledge of IA Licenses and Vendor Management. He/She will also be adept on IA technologies becoming a trusted advisor to clients guiding clients on Automation adoption.
Role & Responsibilities
Consulting Manager would be responsible for the following:
Vendor Management – Be the point of contact for all the IA partner Vendors of ISG. Activities cover
Partner Relationship – Work with existing vendor partner to develop and enable the go-to-market strategy between the vendor and ISG alongside maintaining /elevating the current Partnership Level.
Enablement – Ensure ISG sales & delivery teams are enabled with the product
Administration – Cover all admin activities as they may arise, including licensing.
Skill Tracking - Diligently track the various skill sets and certifications of the ISG automation team and publish reports as required. - End of Month/Quarter/Year closing
Pre-Sales
Be a trusted advisor to ISG Business Development Executives and Clients
Market – Understand how the intelligent automation market is developing and what the latest trends, problems, and things to watch out for are.
Technical – Have a basic understanding of the technical capabilities of the technology domains and the various vendors.
Financial- Become an expert in the various licensing and sales models across the IA Spectrum
Be articulate and respond to questions on client presentations at various points of the sales cycle. Publish thought leadership.
Licensing Operations
Be the owner of all license resale operations
Have an excellent grasp of all licensing related information across ISG’s vendor ecosystem and advise BDE’s/Clients on the right mix of products.
Mange the entire license resale admin process, including but not limited to
Negotiating with the vendors/BDE/Client.
Creating quotes, orders, forms.
Requesting for and ensuring delivery of licenses.
Training ISG personnel on all licenses.
Produce reporting as and when required.
Mange special license programs as generated by ISG, vendors or both.
Staying up to date on all vendor communications regarding licensing, etc.
Track all the details of each license deal.
Ensure client license renewals are tracked and actioned upon well in advance.
Maintain all licensing communication and paperwork in the designated formats and locations.
Attend internal sales pipeline discussions and provide guidance on deals in question.
Coordinate with the Automation helpdesk to ensure clients have access to the right product and quantities.
CTO Office
Mange the operations of ISG’s CTO office which is a forum to investigate and advise ISG on technologies across the Intelligent Automation Spectrum.
Manage the review process of any technology selected.
Automation Demo Series - Program Management of the entire demo series include calendarizing, co-ordination with the vendors/principles, recording and summarizing the recording series.
Manage the reporting, updates, collateral for the entire CTO office.
Edit and distribute the quarterly CTO office newsletter.
Stay abreast of all the happening in the IA market.
Lead the cadence of meetings and drive the agenda.
This position will report to the Partner Intelligent Automation Practice and will support the Sales and Delivery team.
Minimum Travel
Adept at License Models and preparing Quotation and Proposals.
Plans, leads, coordinates, and manages client engagement activities with senior client and service provider executives and project teams.
Program Management Skills (Desired)
Support US and UK Geography working US daytime hours
Required Skillsets
10+ years of License and Vendor management with a proven track record of revenue contribution.
Proven track record in building out best-in-class service and Intelligent Automation offerings within the realities of the organization that includes a fully-fledged strategy, transformation framework, and actionable roadmap.
Significant Knowledge of Intelligent Automation domain.
Served as a trusted advisor and interfaced with executive level clients including demonstrated ability to identify client needs and translate business needs into consulting opportunities.
Practice development experience, including sales and marketing collateral development.
The ideal candidate should possess strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, demonstrating the ability to create and edit documents, presentations, and spreadsheets effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy-to-understand business terms to all levels of management including senior leaders.
Education
Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in a technical or scientific field
