Our Opportunity
We are looking for a Vendor Replenishment Planner to join our VMI Planning team to help support our partnership with Foodstuffs South Island. You will ensure customer demand is met, and appropriate levels of inventory are maintained.
This is a key role for the business in ensuring that a forward view of our key accounts demand and ensuring this is consistent from a warehouse and demand management perspective.
Your responsibilities will include:
Support the Category Planners in the ongoing development of the Goodman Fielder planning process
Ensure the smooth introduction and deletion of new/old lines into the Foodstuffs SI Distribution Centre
Prepare Account/Customer Review Packs for Quarterly and Yearly customer reviews
Identify ways to add value to the team through change initiatives and support the wider efficiency of the planning process
About you
In order to make this role a success we are looking for someone with an understanding and background in Supply Chain and a desire to learn, develop and grow a career in Planning. Given the nature of Daily Fresh and Ambient food, an ability to work in a fast paced environment is integral.
Other key skills or experience we are looking for in your application, includes:
An analytical mindset with the ability to work comfortably with data and analysis
The ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure in a high speed environment is crucial
An understanding of how a full end-to-end Supply Chain works in an FMCG industry would be highly beneficial
A good level of data analysis skills with comfortability with Excel and working in multiple systems
