About Us

Venues Ōtautahi venues attract and host a wide range of events in Christchurch and manage a diverse and iconic portfolio of community venues. Venues Ōtautahi own and manage both the Christchurch Town Hall and Wolfbrook Arena, and manage Apollo Projects Stadium, Hagley Oval, the Air Force Museum of NZ and One New Zealand Stadium, due to open in April 2026.

About the Role

Venues Ōtautahi is delighted to be accepting applications for the role of Venue Logistics Coordinator to support our growing event schedule.

Reporting to the Venue Logistics Team Leader, the role will ensure the highest possible standards of venue presentation, customer service and safety are delivered to all stakeholders.

As a member of the Venue Logistics team, you be right in the thick of it at times, ensuring events are set up to perfection. From concerts to conferences and all other events in between. This role is charged with ensuring the highest possible standards of venue presentation, customer service and safety are delivered, before, during and post all events. Your attention to detail will be second to none and you will pride yourself on exceeding our client and guest expectations.

About You

The Venue Logistics Coordinator, like all roles at Venues Ōtautahi, is a hands-on role, and will involve evenings and weekend work to meet the needs of our event schedule. The role requires an element of heavy lifting and moving equipment, so a good level of fitness is required.

We are looking for someone with great communication skills, proven organisational and planning skills coupled with attention to detail, safety and service delivery to our clients and guests.
