Venue Manager – Common Supply, Clarence Street

About Us:
After the successful opening of our flagship Bondi store in October last year, we’re expanding into the CBD to bring our signature approach to the heart of the city.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Venue Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our new CBD store. The ideal candidate will combine operational expertise, team leadership, and a passion for exceptional customer experiences. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth venue operations, maintaining brand standards, and creating a welcoming environment for every guest.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations.
Lead, motivate, and manage staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring all guests receive a consistent, premium experience.
Monitor inventory, stock levels, and ordering for food, beverages, and retail items.
Manage budgets, including labour, operational costs, and waste management.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing requirements.
Act as the first point of contact for escalated customer concerns and feedback.
Key Skills & Attributes:
Proven experience managing a high-volume cafe, restaurant, or hospitality venue.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
Commercially minded, with a focus on operational efficiency and revenue growth.
Passion for food, beverage, and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
