Job Description:
Are you passionate about animals and dedicated to providing compassionate customer service? We are seeking an enthusiastic, empathetic, and dedicated Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for clients, you will play a vital role in ensuring that both pets and their owners feel welcome and cared for from the moment they walk through our doors or call our clinic. This position requires schedule flexibility, with evening and weekend availability being a must, as our clinic is open 7 days a week. We offer a supportive environment and we will provide the training and resources to ensure your success.
Key Responsibilities:
Answering and managing high-volume phone lines with empathy and professionalism, addressing client concerns and questions.
Managing digital client interfaces with care, ensuring that appointments, inquiries, and other interactions are handled smoothly and efficiently.
Assisting clients in-person with a friendly and compassionate approach, providing excellent customer service while making them and their pets feel comfortable and valued.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring all information is properly documented and confidential.
Scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and ensuring that clients are promptly seen.
Handling payments and transactions in a courteous, transparent, and efficient manner.
Qualifications:
Prior customer service experience required, ideally in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
Strong communication skills with a focus on active listening and problem-solving.
Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Availability for evening and weekend shifts to accommodate our clinic's hours.
