Job Description: Vice President - People (VP People)
Role Overview:
The Vice President - People is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the company's talent acquisition, development, and management processes. The individual will work closely with the executive team to align the organization’s people strategies with business goals while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Leadership:
• Develop and implement comprehensive people strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team on all human resources matters, including organizational design, workforce planning, and talent management.
• Talent Acquisition and Retention:
• Design and execute strategies to attract, recruit, and retain top talent across all levels of the organization.
• Ensure the creation of a compelling employer brand to position the company as a preferred workplace.
• Employee Development:
• Oversee learning and development initiatives to nurture leadership capabilities and career growth.
• Implement performance management systems to recognize and reward employee contributions effectively.
• Organizational Culture and Engagement:
• Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company’s values and mission.
• Develop programs to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.
• HR Operations:
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
• Oversee payroll, benefits, and HR systems to ensure efficiency and employee satisfaction.
• Manage HR budgets and resources effectively.
• Change Management:
• Lead organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
• Act as a change agent to align employees with business goals during transformation periods.
• Metrics and Analytics:
• Monitor HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of people strategies.
• Use data-driven insights to optimize HR processes and improve organizational performance.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in a senior management role.
• Proven track record in developing and executing successful people strategies.
• Strong understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
• Experience in organizational development, talent management, and change management.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in HR technologies and data analytics.
