Job Description
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Vice President, SAAS Solutions to join our fast-paced, mission-driven company. You will be responsible for fostering and managing the relationship with our B2B partnerships, working closely with external clients, internal stakeholders, and product teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that meet both client needs and business objectives. In this role, you will act as a key leadership figure, fostering collaboration across teams, protecting engineering focus, and ensuring the success of our Mortgage Cloud platform.
What you'll be doing:
Client & Partner Collaboration
Build and nurture strong, collaborative relationships with our B2B clients and external partners.
Foster a positive team environment while protecting engineering teams from unnecessary external pressure.
Advocate for long-term client satisfaction through technically sound and future-ready solutions.
Cross-functional Leadership
Collaborate with other engineering leaders and stakeholders across the organization to drive cohesion and execute key initiatives.
Encourage the efficient use of existing tools, platforms, and capabilities to accelerate delivery and reduce duplication of effort.
Technology Alignment
Ensure engineering outcomes for B2B initiatives are tightly aligned with business goals and strategic priorities.
Partner with Principal Engineers and technical leaders to identify areas for improvement and promote technology best practices.
Lead the evolution of our Mortgage Cloud platform to ensure it scales effectively for internal teams and external partners.
Quality Software Delivery
Drive the development of high-quality, production-ready features with minimal defects.
Ensure clear requirements are in place to reduce iteration cycles.
Promote a culture of ownership around production issues and a strong sense of urgency to deliver quality to our users.
What you bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
10+ years in software development, with 3+ years in a senior engineering leadership role
Proven success leading engineering efforts for B2B platforms or technology partnerships
Expertise in cloud-native architecture (Google Cloud preferred), microservices, APIs, and event-driven systems (e.g., event sourcing, CQRS)
Strong experience with enterprise system integration and solution architecture
Excellent communicator and cross-functional leader, with a track record of aligning technical delivery with business goals
Strategic thinker with the ability to influence and inspire high-performing teams
