Full job description
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Violin teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in instruction and the ability to teach piano is an asset to the application. In this role, you will play a crucial part in nurturing each student's musical potential and helping them achieve their goals. You will guide students preparing for examinations and also assist those learning for leisure. The position requires a minimum commitment of 3 teaching days per week, with opportunities for increased hours as the schedule expands.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality violin and piano instruction to students of varying ages and skill levels.
Develop individualized lesson plans to meet each student's needs and goals.
Encourage and motivate students to achieve their musical potential.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Participate in academy events, such as recitals and concerts.
Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment.
Ensure consistency attendance in teaching by adhering to scheduled lessons
Qualifications:
Completed AMEB AMusA (or equivalent) or hold a degree in music.
Experience in teaching students of all ages and levels.
Ability to teach piano is an asset to the application.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
Willingness to commit long-term and grow with the academy.
