Role Overview:
Virohan is looking for a dynamic Director, HR Business Partner (HRBP) who will play a critical role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of business needs, stakeholder management, and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate should be highly analytical, proactive, and have a keen sense of HR first principles, workforce engagement, and policy design.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Partnership:
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, understanding their needs and aligning HR solutions accordingly.
- Design and implement HR policies and frameworks that directly impact business efficiency and workforce engagement.
Talent Management & Employee Lifecycle:
- Lead end-to-end talent management, from hiring to succession planning, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Identify key talent, develop retention strategies, and drive engagement initiatives to reduce attrition.
Incentive & Policy Design:
- Develop and refine incentive structures that drive performance and business outcomes.
- Use HR analytics to measure the success of policies and recommend optimizations.
Employee Relations & Grievance Management:
- Handle complex grievance cases, providing sound judgement and conflict resolution strategies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work culture through effective communication and engagement initiatives.
HR Data & People Analytics:
- Monitor key HR metrics such as attrition rates, employee satisfaction, and engagement levels.
- Implement HR dashboards and reporting mechanisms for real-time business intelligence.
Decision-Making & Business Acumen:
- Make informed HR decisions backed by business logic, data, and first principles thinking.
- Provide critical inputs on organization design, workforce planning, and leadership development.
Must Have Qualifications:
- Experience: 7+ years of relevant HRBP experience in fast-paced organizations, preferably in the startup ecosystem.
- Data & Analytics: Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (dashboards, reports, multi-sheet management) and experience in HR analytics.
