Please note, you must be a resident of British Columbia (B.C.), Canada plus certified B.C. teacher to qualify for this position.
SUMMARY:
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic teacher who is interested in teaching a multi-grade, two days per week class plus oversee online learning throughout the school year.
Virtual class teachers plan, teach, and assess learners through interactive, social learning activities hosted in Zoom, including supplemental activities that learners complete at home.
Virtual club instructors plan and lead learners in interactive, social learning activities hosted in Zoom. While instruction is conducted virtually, we require our teachers to attend training and professional development in the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island regions of British Columbia, Canada.
EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:
Virtual class teachers must be certified by the B.C. Teacher Regulation Branch or the Office of the Inspector of Independent Schools and must agree with RCOA’s statement of faith.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience and education related to working with students in online learning and project-based learning is an asset but not required.
AVAILABLE POSITION:
Spanish 8-+ Class Teacher & 10-12 online course teacher. Remuneration ranges from $12,430 - $20,848 depending on teacher certification and years of experience.
