Job Description
We're a high-growth NYC-based startup building AI software to reduce healthcare costs. As our VP of Finance and Operations, you'll oversee financial activities and operational functions, leading strategic planning, financial forecasting, and fundraising efforts. You'll have a strong background in finance and operations, with a proven track record of guiding startups through Series A and beyond. Responsibilities include:
• Leading financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Managing cash flow, treasury functions, and working capital to ensure liquidity and financial stability
• Providing strategic financial and operational recommendations to the CEO and executive team
• Overseeing day-to-day operations and coordinating cross-functional initiatives to improve operational performance
• Managing resources, including human capital, technology, and infrastructure
You'll have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, and ~10+ years of experience in finance and operations, preferably in a high-growth startup environment. You'll be an advanced user of financial software tools, have exceptional communication skills, and be able to present to various stakeholders.
