Job Overview: The VP of Human Resources is a senior executive role responsible for developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives that align with the organization's goals and objectives. This leader will oversee all aspects of people management, including talent acquisition, development, engagement, and retention, while ensuring compliance with employment laws and fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion. The role also involves providing strategic guidance to executive leadership to support workforce planning, organizational development, and business growth. Shift Details: 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. What You'll Do: Design and execute HR strategies to support business growth, improve the employee experience, and drive organizational performance. Partner with executive leadership to provide insights and recommendations on workforce planning and organizational development. Oversee recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent at all levels of the organization. Lead employee development initiatives, including leadership training, mentoring, and succession planning programs. Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture aligned with the organization's mission, vision, and values. Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and retention. Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with federal, state, and local regulations, maintaining up-to-date and accessible employee handbooks and policy documentation. Oversee the design and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs, staying informed of market trends to ensure offerings remain attractive and equitable. Mitigate organizational risks by staying informed about changing labor laws and HR best practices. Address sensitive employee relations issues and lead conflict resolution efforts as needed. Implement and oversee performance review processes to promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Evaluate and leverage HR technology solutions to streamline processes and enhance data-driven decision-making. Analyze HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of programs and identify areas for improvement. What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certifications (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP) preferred. 10-15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in manufacturing or logistical industries is preferred. Proven ability to cultivate employee growth and build strong, positive team cultures. Strong leadership, interpersonal communication, and strategic planning skills. Expertise in talent management, organizational development, and HR compliance. Proficiency with HR technology and analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
