About The Role

As the VP, Production Operations, you are the architect of the agency’s execution engine. You will provide the strategic vision and operational framework necessary to deliver complex, multi-disciplinary work at scale while safeguarding margin and quality. Reporting to the SVP of Implementation & Transformation, you are responsible for the health, efficiency, and evolution of our delivery ecosystem.

You will bridge the gap between high-level business strategy and ground-level execution, ensuring our global resource pool is optimized and our delivery methodologies are future-proofed. Your leadership will define our workflow and performance standards by embedding agentic AI flows into our core processes, and maintain these processes with the evolution of the macro tech landscape.

Core Responsibilities

Delivery Quality & Execution Control
• Lead production and project management for the pod, across disciplines and regions
• Monitor project health across the portfolio; proactively mitigate risk and own escalations related to execution breakdowns or systemic friction.
• Push offerings toward productized, repeatable delivery models, reducing bespoke complexity and operational drag.
• Define and enforce clear scopes of work that protect teams, timelines, and margin.
• Ensure producers and project managers actively manage burn and project profitability - not just report on it.
• Treat timesheet accuracy as a commercial and operational lever, not an afterthought.

Margin Management, Scaling & Sales Operations
• Partner with Finance and business leadership on operational and financial modeling.
• Own margin health across the portfolio by monitoring the deal pipeline and orchestrating scaling decisions aligned to real demand.
• Design and implement hub and resourcing strategies that drive cost efficiency and resilience.
• Enable utilization gains and smart resource sharing across teams and projects without creating chaos.
• Oversee vendor strategies and rostering to protect margin while maintaining delivery quality.
• Lead change management and organizational shifts as the delivery model evolves.

Data, Process, Tools & Standards
• Define and track North Star metrics for operational excellence (e.g. utilization vs. realization, net margin, delivery quality, personnel tagging, orch charts).
• Drive efficiency through process simplification, tooling, playbooks, and clear ways of working.

AI Adoption in Operations & Delivery
• Drive AI adoption across delivery workflows; from scoping and staffing to execution and reporting.
• Build and lead teams of AI-literate operators who raise the baseline across the organization.

Experience & Profile

Professional Experience
• 14+ years in production, project management, or operations leadership within a global agency or professional services environment.
• Proven track record managing delivery for high-revenue portfolios ($20M+).
• Demonstrated success architecting global operating models and standards, not just running existing processes.
• Experience leading large-scale change management initiatives.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and partner closely with Finance and Account leadership.

Technical, AI & Operational Expertise
• Experiment non-stop with new AI tools and follow the latest developments closely.
• Fluency in collaborating with creative technologists.
• Understanding of how to embed AI and agentic workflows into operational and delivery processes.
• Experience owning and integrating enterprise delivery, project management, and financial systems.
