Roles and Responsibilities:Fixed Asset and lease accounting Activities.Processing GR, reconciling GR/IR account, and Clearing open items(VAT, adj, tax adj, etc)Track Capital work in progress (AUC Assets), and capitalization upon project completion.Preparation of cash paid for Fixed AssetRecording Depreciation and Ensuring Fixed asset records are updated on monthly basis.Physical verification of Fixed Assets and reconciliation.Accounting for leases as per IFRSReview new leases and update information in the Lease Query system.Recording monthly amortization Journal Entries.Preparing reconciliation of lease payment liability GL accounts and clearing open itemsPreparation of Assets and Liabilities roll forward reportPreparation of MIS and other Adhoc reports for managementPreparation of GL Recons on monthly basis.Regions covered: worldwide.The candidate will be based in Bangalore2+ yrs of experience in handling Fixed Assets in IT industry.Exposure to ERP based accounting system (preferably SAP)Candidate having exposure to Lease query is an added advantage.Education qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Finance/AccountingExpertise knowledge in Fixed Asset Accounting.Exposure to local law compliance.High degree of professionalism.Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material.Problem-solving, and systematic skills.
