Job Description
We are recruiting staff to work at PochawaGrill, a Korean restaurant in China Town.
For now, We need a person who can work 20-35 hours per week
Shifts are from 11:00, 15:00 or 18:00 until 11:30 on weekdays, We are looking for a person who can be available on weekend (until 12:30am)
We can adjust your preferred hours/days as much as possible. We're looking for those who can work one or two days from Friday to Sunday.
Hourly pay starts at £12.25, +tips and service charge. Monthly tips and bonuses are available. (So over £14 in total)
We'll also consider increasing your pay based on performance, and training periods may vary based on individual capabilities.
You'll receive a 30% discount at our other restaurants within the same company, including a Japanese restaurant (Maguro), other Korean restaurants (Gogi, Bullgogi, Bunsik), and a nail shop. Uniforms, meals, and personal lockers are provided.
Paid leave complies with legal requirements, with full-time staff entitled to 28 days per year.

- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and courteous manner
- Present menus, make recommendations, and take orders
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately
- Upsell additional products when appropriate
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling payments and transactions
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines
- Willingness to assist team members as needed
