NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
There are five permanent posts available:
Post 1 - 25hrs - 0800-1445 Tues-Friday
Post 2 - 19.5hrs - Thurs & Friday 0900-1600 & Saturday 0830-1500
Post 3 - 22.5hrs Mon-Friday 1515-1900
Post 4 - 34 hours Wed-Fri 0730-1915
Post 5 - 18.5 hours - Mon 0800-1600, Tues 0800 -1545 & Wed 0800 -1145
Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.

To support effective clinical care by providing an efficient Health Records service to patients in a ward environment. To ensure patient’s health records are administered and processed accurately and remain confidential.
The post holder will provide cover in multiple wards as and when required. The post holder will be expected to undertake all duties such as reception of patients, answering telephone, appointment booking and maintaining demographic information on the patient management system.
It is essential that the candidate has previous clerical/reception experience along with experience of working with the general public in a customer service environment.
Good organisational, keyboard and communication skills are essential along with being proficient in the use of computer systems.
Please note this is a GGC wide post and can be moved to any location, however initial base will be QEUH
