We are currently in need of a reliable Warehouse Assistant comfortable with early morning starts to join our small friendly team in Palmerston North. Hourly rate will be subjective to the incoming candidate’s skills and experience.
What you will be doing:
Receiving, picking & loading of goods
Processing of inwards & outwards goods
Assisting supervisors with inventory management
Efficient movement of raw material & finished product throughout the warehouse.
Contributing to continuous improvement in systems and procedures by providing feedback on current process and identifying potential areas of improvement
Partaking in reasonable logistics administrative duties as and when required
What we are looking for:
Reliability, punctuality, and positive can-do work attitude is a must!
Experience driving forklifts would be ideal but is not essential.
Good command of the English language- both verbal and written
Physical fitness
Attention to detail.
General health and safety awareness
Previous warehouse, inventory, logistics or produce retail experience and/or knowledge will prove advantageous.
