Job Description
The Warehouse Executive will assist in optimization of all warehouse operations for Freyr energy services under the direct supervision of Warehouse Manager on Solar PV projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing the inventory at the warehouse and tracking of inward & outward inventory primarily.
Base Location: Hyderabad
Reports to: Warehouse Manager
Travel: Minimal travel (if required)
Roles and responsibilities:
Responsible for managing and organizing the inventory at the assigned warehouse.
Responsible for complete inventory management at the warehouse on a FIFO method.
Responsible for accurate reporting of inventory levels for all SKU’s at the warehouse to the warehouse manager.
As required, travel to vendor sites to verify material as per BOM before being dispatched to the project site.
Work with internal departments and external teams/transporters to ensure accurate shipping and delivery schedule of all related products.
Responsible and accountable for the direct day-to-day operations to ensure achievement of cost, productivity, or accuracy, or timeliness objectives of the department, as well as manage logistics personnel and systems like Zoho Inventory, etc.
Responsible for overall housekeeping, hygiene & security of the warehouse.
Responsible for keeping track of rental agreements and utility payments.
Have the capability to develop a good ecosystem to hire man-power and arrange for transport as and when required.
Mandatory Requirements:
Graduate in any discipline.
At least 1-2 years progressive experience in SCM/Procurement
Vendor management skills
Must be be open to minimal travel
Knowledge of Local language
Good knowledge of MS Word / Excel
Additional Requirements:
Prior experience in working with both intercity and intracity transporter companies
Owns a 2-Wheeler and driving license.
Conversant in, Hindi and English. Assertive communication.
