The role of UPS Warehouse Worker or Package Handler is crucial to the effective functioning of the company's logistics processes. This position requires individuals to load and unload packages to and from UPS brown trucks and trailers, and also sort them for prompt delivery. Job Duties and Responsibilities of Warehouse Helper:
• Treat packages weighing up to 70 lbs with care and move them safely.
• Perform the task of taking material off and putting it on UPS trucks and trailers.
• Systematically group the parcels based on their destination and keep them separated to avoid confusion and errors during transportation.
• Foster teamwork among team members to optimize workflow.
• Ensure that safety standards and protocols are maintained at all times.
Qualifications and Experience of Warehouse Helper:
• Ability to manage a maximum of 70 lbs. in weight.
