Job Summary of Warehouse Helper:

Aldi is in need of a Warehouse Helper to help us keep our distribution centers running at full capacity. Your responsibilities will include receiving incoming shipments, ensuring proper shelf restocking, and keeping the warehouse neat and organized. You'll succeed in this role by being highly attentive to details, working fast, and being a committed member of a team.

As a Warehouse Helper with Aldi, the job necessitates receiving and unloading shipments, stocking shelves in a systematic and efficient manner, and maintaining an organized inventory. Additionally, it demands product rotation to ensure product freshness, performing inventory counts with accuracy, and compliance with all safety policies and procedures. Quality communication with both team members and supervisors will facilitate a productive workplace environment.

Responsibilities of Warehouse Helper:

It is obligatory to carry out tasks with or without any reasonable accommodation.
• Efficient selection and receipt of new inventory is necessary to meet the demands of retail outlets.
• Relocates goods around the warehouse following the endorsed product handling procedures.
• Strategically sorting and organizing merchandise, and loading it with care, is done in preparation for shipment, and unloading incoming shipments from trucks/back-hauls is also part of the process.
• Executes routine cleaning tasks to maintain warehouse sanitation and uphold safety codes.
• Takes part in the inventory count proceedings in the warehouse with adherence to the specific instructions.
• Facilitates smooth cooperation and interaction among peers, suppliers, and warehouse leaders through consistent sharing of information and effective networking.
• Proposes process enhancements to warehouse management to improve workflow.
• Scrutinizes merchandise conditions keenly while consulting the warehouse management, to ensure the quality of the product and compliance with hygiene, and safety regulations.
• Carries out responsibilities and makes decisions without external influence within the delegated area.
• Collaborates with warehouse management to achieve their financial goals.
• Executes every assigned task with precision, speed, and complete compliance with organizational rules and protocols.
• Follows the prescribed methodology for executing the ergonomic program.
• Executes essential work functions using equipment while maintaining compliance with safety regulations.
• Makes management aware of issues with product safety, sanitation, or quality.
• Employees should strive to complete all tasks assigned to them, even if it falls under the Other duties as assigned category.

Qualification of Warehouse Helper:

• The prerequisite for this role is a high school diploma or an alternative equivalent.

Physical Requirements of Warehouse Helper:
• It's common for the work to require the lifting and placement of objects weighing up to 45 pounds onto pallets that are positioned at different levels.
• Consistently transfer products from the storage area in order to prepare them for shipping to stores.
• Frequently obliged to sustain static or dynamic positions, bend, extend, hold onto, push, drag, carry, and roam about the whole stockroom.
• Operate in environments where temperatures are not consistent, fluctuating from hot to cold, with work being done both inside and outside, and inside refrigerators or freezers.
• Capability to skillfully and responsibly operate motor-driven industrial implements.
