Job Responsibilities:
• Handle furniture loading and unloading with strict adherence to company policies aimed at reducing shrink in the process
• Getting ready for furniture placement by following the visual guidelines on the stage showroom floor
• Take great care in assembling products, working diligently to prevent any harm
• Coordinate the packing of unsold merchandise to ensure that it’s properly protected during transit
• Utilize appropriate equipment and gear to facilitate product pickups as per company guidelines and policies
• Be knowledgeable about the products in the showroom and provide accurate information to customers
• It is important to ensure that all safety equipment is in proper working order to maintain the highest level of protection
• Implementing a regular cleaning schedule for your warehouse, stock room and showroom can help keep things running smoothly and avoid unexpected messes
• Other responsibilities given might involve custodial duties and sanitation upkeep
Required Qualifications:
• The potential to comply with a retail schedule of five business days, which includes work on weekends (either Saturday or Sunday) for Part-Time and both for Full-Time, evening shifts, and several holidays, however, Thanksgiving and Christmas are excluded
• Being proficient in teamwork and complying with instructions are fundamental competencies that lead to favorable outcomes in a team-based environment
• Active listening aids in reducing conflicts and promoting collaboration by providing a conducive platform for individuals to express and understand each other
• Utilizing communication tools inappropriately, such as sending inappropriate messages or spamming others, can have negative consequences and damage relationships
• The skill to carry and elevate materials
