Job Description:
The Warehouse Manager at Borderworx will be responsible for overseeing the inbound, outbound, and inventory control operations. This position will be instrumental in developing and implementing short- and long-term strategies in alignment with company objectives. The Warehouse Manager will report directly to both the Director of Operations and the Executive Vice President and will have opportunities for career advancement.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee the process for all inbound and outbound products, ensuring they are received, labeled, scanned, and stored according to company policies and procedures.
Ensure the accuracy of inventory counts in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Ensure deadlines and quality objectives are met, including meeting shipping and receiving targets.
Assign work schedules and review timesheets for warehouse staff.
Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately, and that inbound shipments are received correctly according to company procedures, and outbound shipments are sent without delay.
Analyze operational data to assess warehouse performance and recommend process improvements.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve warehouse processes and procedures to increase efficiency and streamline operations.
Recruit, train, and onboard new warehouse staff. Provide guidance and assist employees with tasks when needed.
Supervise, mentor, and train the warehouse team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Ensure compliance with Ontario’s health and safety regulations and implement safety protocols as required by law.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Job Qualifications:
5+ years of proven experience in warehouse management or a related field.
Expertise in warehouse operations, inventory control, and warehouse management systems (WMS); preferably Extensiv (formerly 3PL Central).
Strong knowledge of inventory procedures, including SKU tracking and scanning systems.
Proficiency with warehouse management software is essential.
Excellent leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of management and staff.
Strong decision-making abilities and the capacity to resolve conflicts effectively.
Ability to operate a reach truck and fork lift safely and efficiently (current certification required).
Ability to adapt and respond to changing operational needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $100,000 per year, based on experience
Schedule:
8+ hour shifts, based on operational needs
Day shift availability required

Mississauga, ON L5T 2T5 (Candidates must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work)
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of warehouse management experience (required)
5+ years of experience using warehouse management software (preferred)
Licenses/Certifications:
Forklift license (required)
Reach Truck license (required)
