our team is hardworking, flexible in their approach to the work that they carry out and focus on making sure things are done right the first time.
the role
• assisting with the unloading of scheduled deliveries and the checking in of stock including sorting/placing materials on to racks, and shelves.
• you will support the production teams by collecting materials from throughout the warehouse and delivering to the production & fulfillment lines according to the production plan schedule.
• supporting the Warehouse Manager with inventory controls, stock counting and location checks.
• carrying out all duties in a safe and controlled manner.
• you will support the Warehouse Manager with a variety of daily, weekly and ad-hoc duties as well as supporting the production management team.
you will have/be able to:
• a current active forklift is required (reach truck or counterbalance)
• proven experience of working in a warehouse/packing environment
• an experienced communicator who can confidently communicate at all levels within the warehouse environment
• a good level of reading and written English skills with other European languages an advantage
• work under your own initiative or as part of a team
• a good working knowledge of health & safety best practices in a warehouse environment
• previous experience using a warehouse management system/stock management system preferred but not essential
we will be moving to a new warehouse in early 2025, the new location will be in Marden, Kent
applicants must have current work authorisation in the UK.
