Job Description
Your primary goal in this role is to keep the store location warehouse running smoothly, clean and organized, vacuum and mop the showroom, behind the front desk, kitchen, washrooms and sample room floor areas, sweeping or shovelling outside of the back bay doors as required. You’ll learn our products well and learn how to load customer orders and delivery trucks quickly and efficiently. You will assist with unloading containers at the store location.

This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Sunday, 32-3+ hours per week
Shifts and schedule:
5 to + hour shifts, with appropriate breaks, depending on the schedule. Must be available to work weekends
Your days of work will vary as we are open to the public seven days a week. Store hours are as follows:
Monday and Tuesday - +:00am to 5:00pm
Wednesday to Friday - +:00am to 7:00pm
Saturday - 10:00am to 5:00pm
Sunday - 11am to 4:00pm
Non-paid breaks
Overtime, only if required
Qualifications:
Physically able to lift and load a minimum of 50lbs several times throughout the shift (cartons of tile and/or furniture)
Fluent in English (speak, read and write)
Basic math and calculator skills
Mature / Responsible / Punctual / Proactive / Confident in your abilities / Positive "Can Do" Attitude
Must have common sense / Willing to learn / Not afraid to ask questions
Team player - you communicate and work well with all types of customers and employees
Able to assemble furniture display items correctly and efficiently with little or no supervision
Valid forklift license (minimum two years experience) - not a deciding factor of employment
Dress appropriately for warehouse work environment
Pay:
Commensurate with experience (Range - $16.00/hr to $25.00/hr)
