Warehouse Team Member

Madero has an opening in the Saskatoon manufacturing location for the right individual to join our team.

Join our team as a Warehouse Team Member where you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse. As a Warehouse Team Member, you will be responsible for various tasks related to order picking, warehouse management systems, and equipment operation.

Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts to load and unload trucks and move products throughout the facility.
Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
Follow receiving procedures for all inventory and supplies entering the facility.
Use proper material handling techniques to ensure minimal damage to inventory.
Be knowledgeable about all products in warehouse.
Perform order picking and packing tasks accurately and efficiently.
Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage orders.
Adherence to Procedures: Follow company policies, procedures, and guidelines for warehouse operations, including proper handling of materials and equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
Be friendly and courteous to colleagues.
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including reporting any discrepancies to supervisors.
Engage in heavy lifting activities as required.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse team members to achieve daily production targets and ensure efficient warehouse operations
Experience:

Prior experience in order picking and warehouse operations is preferred.
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems for inventory control.
Able to proficiently operate a forklift.
Knowledge of basic material handling equipment and procedures.
Understand and follow verbal and written direction.
Experience in Doors, Hardware and Building supplies.
Requirements:

Proficient in order picking techniques and utilizing warehouse management systems.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
Organizational skills and self-motivation are important attributes.
Capable of performing heavy lifting tasks as part of daily responsibilities.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in executing warehouse tasks.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
